Last night the website that hosts my website was down for maintenance, so I couldn't post anything, which was just as well as nothing happened.
But today I went in to see my doctor for my right knee. It's been getting really achy lately, and since Robin and Kinsley will be up in a couple of weeks I wanted to get it as much in working order to as possible to do things with them. So my doctor gave me a cortisone shot. When she put the needle into my knee she said she heard crunching, and from the look on her face I think that that meant the I have arthritis in it. Not unexpected. I'll have to go back to get an x-ray on the knee. It actually is feeling better this evening. Otherwise, Iz and I walked around the block many times. The guys who'll be painting the house are working on getting the porch corner lifted up and prepping the house for painting.
When the guys first came over to work on the house yesterday, Izzy was predictably freaked out. The quiet little dog that we had for the first four months has a pair of lungs. And she doesn't like strangers on the porch. She's been calmer today, except for when someone got on the porch. And they've been hammering, powerwashing and all sorts of other startling noises. I'm sure she'll be happier when they're done, but she's holding up admirably, considering the circumstances.
