Really, nothing. Robin says Matt has a problem with his hand, may need an operation. That's all I have. We're supposed to have a heat wave over the weekend. Well, it already started on Friday.

No news today. We'll be having a heatwave, probably hitting 100 over the weekend. I guess that's news. But there's not really much news around here. When it gets really hot we generally stay indoors and turn on the air conditioning. I think, except for an occasional shower we should be dry until next fall. 

Gilbert is doing fine. I usually take him for a walk around the block at midday. He likes sniffing the flowers. 

Prince Rupert

There isn't any real news to report from out here. Well, on Tuesday I had a colonoscopy. The results were great, I think this will push me to the "once every ten years" rotation. I had been having to get them once every five years. 

But colonoscopies will never be fun, and it's because the flushing you must go through the day before is truly awful. My cleansing was happening during the final Warriors-Cavaliers basketball game for the NBA championship. Managed not to miss any action, though. And the Warriors won.

Went for my colonoscopy yesterday. Left me pretty tired. 

 

Had lunch today

Joan got her hair cut today at the Bishop's on 28th Avenue. Then we went next door to Güero No. 1 Tortas . Great Mexican food. Fantastic Mexican food. It was really good and it was cheap. Best new place for a meal out.

No news, hopefully, is good news
