Tiger lily in Keyport

This is a picture of a tiger lily in Keyport. 

As you may suspect, there isn't much going on. We're in the middle of a heat wave of sorts here. Over ninety today, pretty hot yesterday and hot tomorrow. 

I took Izzy over to the dog park this afternoon. She got some run around time with other dogs and got some yayas out. Tonight she's been fast asleep. 

We had a little bit of a breeze this evening but it seems to have stopped. So far we haven't gone to the air conditioner, but I'll need a fan tonight to move the air molecules around. We had yams for dinner (with chicken). Joan cooked the yams in her insta pot. Oh, they were so good.

Winter sunset in Keyport

Well, Saturday was just another day without much happening. I watched a lot of football. Then I watched basketball. It was a cold, rainy day. But this morning it was just a little colder which meant that we got snow. It was something new for our desert dog (she was rescued in Indio, California). But Izzy figured it out. We got a sweater for her, but it's a little too big, so it gets sent back for another. 

On one trip around the block her friend Mickey was out so we let them run, wrestle and chase each other. 

So that was fun. She's snuggled up against Joan's leg now, Gilbert is down below us on the floor. 

Oh, and the 49ers won today, again, four straight. It's a good way to end the year and for the first time in a long time there's some promise for next year.
