Hard to believe

This is Oliver's last bath as a one year-old. Tomorrow is his official birthday. The fleet accompanying him were birthday presents, the submarine was from Joan and me.

Suspect

Considering that one of Oliver's mommies has had a persistent cough and O had a runny nose, I suspect that what I've had this week is pretty much the same thing. It's a sinus thing, and the post-nasal drip in the middle of the night causes me to cough. This is alienating me from my honey. She finally got up and left me last night. 

The last two nights I haven't gotten much sleep, and when I don't get my sleep I'm a wreck.

I went and got my taxes done today. Between the state and federal I'm getting back around $1500. The woman who was doing my taxes missed the special break that federal retirees get, so initially it looked like I was going to lose money. But no, I'm getting it back. 

So even if I haven't slept for a couple of days I feel a little richer.
