A mountain lion was found in the Diamond Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, pretty much in the dead center of the city. Because it was so close to a playground the authorities decided to tranquilize it. The animal was taken to a nature center in Santa Cruz where it was fitted with a radio collar for tracking purposes and then released into the wild.
So that mountain lion probably was a little wobbly on Friday night, but back in the wilds.
