Neanderthals keep looking better

Ever since scientists discovered that most humans have Neanderthal DNA I've noticed that they look better and better in artistic depictions. This is an older depiction of a Neanderthal:

The big news: Izzy!

Don't ask me why or how. Blame it on Joan. Whatever, Izzy is our new little girl. She's part chihuahua, part something else (some kind of terrier). She does NOT have a chihuahua personality. I think she may have been abused, she's a rescue shelter dog, and sometimes she cowers. Not sure if it's the fear of a new home or fear. In any case, we're gently coaxing her and she's slowly coming along.
