Saw the eclipse

Joan and I went out to see the eclipse on Sunday night. We drove east towards the Gorge, but it was still hiding in the trees. So we went to Tad's on the Sandy River, where the top draw is their chicken and dumplings. Not terribly spicy, those big doughy balls, but it's wonderful comfort food. We had to take a bunch of it home. On the way back we saw the moon coming out from behind the earth's shadow.
