Joan got her hair cut today at the Bishop's on 28th Avenue. Then we went next door to Güero No. 1 Tortas . Great Mexican food. Fantastic Mexican food. It was really good and it was cheap. Best new place for a meal out.
Joanie and I went out to see "Astoria: part one", a play about John Astor's plan to set up a fur-trading business at the mouth of the Columbia River. There was one group traveling overland and another, a ship going around the tip of South America.
It's only part one, so we find out how everything ends next season.
Lots of rain these days, but at least it's not snow. Otherwise, the children we're acquainted with have kept a low profile, so no pictures. Otherwise, all quiet on the western front.
No news. No pictures to share. Mailed off a present to Kinsley. Oliver visited us for awhile today while Mama was shopping. We all had tacos for dinner. By the time Mama and Ollie left he was squirmy and cranky. I'm guessing he fell asleep on the way home.
