I slept until 9:40 this a.m., which means I've had to leap into NFL football this a.m. Again, Portland TV is showing the Seattle Seahawks over the SF Niners. Therefore, here in the dawn of my Sunday morning consciousness I am on the NFL Red Zone network which flashes among all the games going on. I've seen glimpses of the Niners-Jets game. No score yet, but they've brought in Colin Kaepernick for a couple of plays. Kinda Tebow-ing the Tebows. The guy's got an incredible arm, but like I said, no score.
It's nice and sunny again. Being here in the Pacific Northwest and going through all of September with nary a hint of rain (okay, one morning there was a hint of rain, but just a hint: damp sidewalks) you start worrying that when it does start raining that you'll have to load up the ark. Or conversely, that it will never rain again.
But I can't worry too much about it. The Niners just scored. A Kaepernick keeper.
In other news, Gill and Sully are battling over a couple of my socks tied together. And my NY Sunday Times wasn't delivered today and I had to call the 800 number. Joanie filled up my special Forty-Niners coffee cup and now, as the caffeine begins coursing through my veins, I am in heaven.
