There is a scam of some sort, and it bothers me because it presumes that I'm stupid.
It's a robocall. It says that I've been selected by American Something to participate in a thirty-second survey on politics and that as compensation I win a three-day vacation for two. I don't know what happens after that because I hang up at that point.
If they are automatically giving away vacations for thirty seconds of your time, and if it's a real survey and has a sufficient number of responses to create a valid data base, then this is the most expensive survey ever done. But they're not surveying at all. It's a scam. Grrrrh.
